The annual exhibition obligation is behind us. HOYA- Amazing Hoya SNOWWHITE BEAUTY made its premiere in the junior class on 06&08.12, as traditionally represented by a large number of dogs. On Friday, from the Czech judge Zdenka Jílková, she received a nice evaluation with a smiling addition that Hoyka is in excellent winter condition, i.e. she has 2-3 kilos extra. From the ring she took the excellent 4 – V4 rating. On Sunday, the golden judges were Daniela Bartošová from Slovakia and HOYA once again received a beautiful evaluation and the excellent mark 2- V2. We have completed the annual obligations and now we are just waiting for the deserved duck hunting – again for a premiere and we will start the winter break.
On Saturday, October 12th, we attended the last club autumn trials of this year. For Miu – BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY Canis Regnum it was already several trials and since she is a workaholic, she managed to do them again with flying colors. This year she is giving consistently balanced performances and took home the 1st prize, full points and the title of CACT, the best golden retriever. For Hojka – AMAZING HOYA SnowWhite Beauty it was completely her first work trial and she managed it with a clear result in 10 months. Since she made a few beginner mistakes, she took home the 2nd prize. For her, a new experience, a lot of dogs, a lot of drivers and judges. And for me, too, a new experience and something I did for the first time – I was leading two dogs in trials for the first time and it was a real challenge.
MIA – BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY We successfully completed this year together, 2019, on the work front on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Top tests – The MIA Retriever All-Round Tests were completed with 1st prize and the title of res.CACT. By successfully completing these tests, Mia becomes a versatile dog that is registered in the book of versatile dogs under No. U 294/19 of the Slovak Hunting Association.
The puppies grew up in their new homes in just 7 months; they are no longer little dogs, but young teenagers at the age of 9 months. The entire litter turned out very well; they carry the features of both parents and the female is extremely similar to them. The only snowdrop among the princesses Lilinka received a gift this month in the form of a little puppy, so hopefully they will be friends, since she is very popular among the little ones in the neighborhood. Thank you to all the owners for their more than 100% care and I am extremely happy that everyone found such homes for them.
Immediately after the holiday, Miya and I – BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY Canis Regnum – entered the Special Water Handling Tests in Budmerice and participated in them. Although water is not Miya’s home ground, she worked flawlessly on the disciplines with the animals. She failed us with the cannon fire discipline at the checkpoint. That was a big disappointment not only for her, but also for me. The point shot by the crossbowmen moved us to second place in the overall standings. We finished in 1st place with 101b points. Thank you SRK for organizing these tests and also to all acquaintances and friends who participated. I value this award very much, as the event was held as part of the Mariana Korič Memorial, which is organized by the Club of Breeders of Stables and thus the judges judged us with a strict eye of a stableman.
Over the weekend, Mia – BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY Canis Regnum stood in front of the judges for the first time after puppies at two shows in neighboring Poland, and Mia earned nice evaluations and awards during both days. 13.07.2019 / judge Borkowski Tomasz,PL / – Exc 1,CWC, Best adult female, BOS and 14.07.2019 / judge Trzebiecki Wojciech, PL / – Exc.1,CWC, Best adult female, BOS. This makes her a contender for the Polish beauty pageant title and she only needs one more CWC title to complete the championship. I am very happy that we have successfully entered this year’s exhibition season with such results.
At this international show Hoya – AMAZING HOYA SnowWhite Beauty successfully completed the championship of Czech Shepherds’ dogs on the very first day and obtained the last necessary VN1 in the adult class to be awarded the title. From a little puppy she grew into a beautiful 6-month-old female who obviously enjoys exhibitions. Now we have a busy summer ahead of us to show that we are just as good at work as we are at exhibitions in the autumn.
On Sunday, May 19, Miou – BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY Canis Regnum participated in the autumn trials in the Czech Republic. We entered the trials with horse no. 13 and it brought luck to both of us. Mia worked like clockwork, without a single mistake, and that brought us success. As the only ones, we completed the trials with only 4 horses and we brought home two titles CACT & CCT (waiting for the champion of the Czech Republic and waiting for the club champion of the Czech Republic) and became the overall winners of the trials.
The extended show weekend was successful for our little Hoyu – AMAZING HOYA SnowWhite Beauty. It was her show debut in the junior class for us with unexpected beautiful ratings. She earned 3x VN1 (Very promising) & Best minor puppy. And now to fulfill the requirements for Champion puppy, she only needs one VN1 more. I am looking forward to the ratings and the fact that Hoyu really pleased the judges.
HOYA underwent genetic tests for diseases affecting GOLDEN RETRIEVERs in less than 3 months and we have great news and results: PRA/PRCD – negative, GR PRA1 &GR PRA2 – negative, ICTA – n/p. She will have to wait until she reaches the age of 12 months to undergo the joint examination.
A new member of our family HOYA, a little naughty girl who won my heart with her balanced temperament and beautiful exterior, is a native apporter; I never know where my shoes are, I guess it comes from my parents and I believe she will be equally successful in both working and showring.
There are only 5 of us left!
The puppies spend their last moments together playing games until they are scattered to new homes. They go out to play 5 times a day and where there used to be flower beds, there are no more. Even the cat has found that it is safer to stay at a certain height and not walk around the garden when the torpedoes are out.
The puppies are out for the first time outside their familiar environment; in the garden they discovered a new world under the supervision of Mia, and the fun began when they had to be brought back inside. This week they are getting their 3rd vaccination and getting their microchip implanted.
