We are a small, internationally protected family-type kennel in the Liptov region of Slovakia, surrounded by the Tatras. Dogs are first and foremost members of the family and family pets that share our family home with us, despite having their own heated house with runs and therefore do not support the permanent stay of our puppies in the yard and in the kennels.
The foundation of our breeding and life with dogs as such is primarily the best possible care and nutrition from puppies to adult and aging individuals, because everything in the breeding depends on proper nutrition and care!!! We regularly devote our dogs, even those in retirement, to daily walks, active hunting training, and active hunting work during hunting trips, exhibitions, and food adjusted specifically for each individual, all the way to regular veterinary care.
When breeding, we focus primarily on the standard behavioral traits of our dogs and puppies that are typical for the golden retriever breed and that we strive to maintain and develop in our breeding programs. Just as important to us are not only the health results but also the appearance, and therefore in most planned litters, we take our steps abroad to select suitable breeding dogs. Since all our female dogs are healthy and genetically tested for diseases affecting golden retrievers, and even more so, we only breed with healthy and genetically tested individuals.
Our puppies leave us at the age of 8 weeks, properly vaccinated, several times dewormed, registered in the Slovak Dog Breed Book and the Central Register of Animals, have a registered chip, a Dog Origin Certificate (Pedigree – PP) and an SK/EU Petpassport. Of course, there is a Purchase-Sale Agreement including a starter pack with everything necessary for a new start in their new home.
Puppies are always fed high-quality food – superpremium granules. They leave us superbly socialized, are raised directly with us in our house, in direct 24/7 contact with us, accustomed to both common and uncommon sounds, accustomed to children, other dogs, cats, people, handling, veterinary procedures, and have hygienic habits.
We always like to stay in touch with the new owners, which of course includes the breeding service as well.
The priority when choosing a new owner and a new home for a puppy is not mandatory participation in exhibitions or hunting tests. The priority is that it has everything it needs for a full life, physical and psychological development, so that it becomes a full member of the family and the best friend they could ever wish for!!!
